Outsourcing is fairly common nowadays in most sectors in the business communities. One sector seems to be still far behind, though--law firms.
But changes are already in the works, and billion-dollar law firm Baker & McKenzie initiated it by putting up some of their back office work in its outpost in Manila, which provides IT support and business research for the firm.
